ABIS –TBI - TNAU is one of the NIDHI- PRAYAS Center funded by the National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB), Dept.of Science and Technology, Govt.of.India, New Delhi from 2023.

ABIS-TBI, NIDHI PRAYAS center can support young and aspiring  innovators  by providing prototype funding of Rs.10.00 Lakhs to convert their ideas into prototype for product development that has potential for commercialisation.

Salient features of the program:

1. An individual innovator or founder of a startup (Less than 7 years of existence) can apply for Prayas grant.

​

2. The ideas and innovations should be based on technology and science.

​

3. The priority technology areas are manufacturing, agriculture, healthcare, clean-tech, energy, water and Internet of Things (IoT).           

                 

4. Upto Rs.10 Lakhs of PRAYAS grant is Proof-of-concept grant for converting idea and innovations into a prototype. The product prototype has to be a physical product.
